When Sarah witnessed the murder of her father her life was shattered. Moving far away from the city was the only thing that seemed to make sense. But in their new home an overwhelming sense of loss has left her family damaged and divided.

When the power suddenly fails and a chilling radio broadcast reveals that terrorists have brought Britain to its knees, the family find themselves vulnerable, alone and terrified to leave their home.

Struggling for food, insecure and reeling in a search for meaning they must set aside their differences to survive in a new and uncertain world. However, they will soon find their past is as uncertain as their future.
